How Print Arena works

Everything about tournaments, simulated trading, scoring, prize eligibility and payouts, in one place.

What Print Arena is#

Print Arena is a paper-trading competition on live pump.fun memecoins. You trade with simulated SOL; the best traders in each tournament win real SOL.

Paper bankroll. Real SOL.

Your bankroll and your trades are simulated. You never deposit anything, and nothing you do in the app moves real money, sends a transaction or touches the market.

The prizes are real. After each tournament and a review, the top eligible traders are paid in real SOL, sent to the wallet they signed in with.

Prices come from the real market. Every fill is priced against the coin’s real on-chain liquidity at the moment it executes, with the fees, price impact and delay a real trade would face. Profits here are what the same trades would have made on-chain, and losses are what they would have cost.

How it works, start to finish

  1. Sign in with a Solana wallet. You sign a message, never a transaction.
  2. Link your X account and enter a tournament. Everyone in it starts with the same paper bankroll (10 SOL unless the tournament says otherwise).
  3. Trade coins between $3.5K and $1M market cap while the tournament is live.
  4. Sell before the close. You’re ranked on realized PnL, and anything you still hold at the close counts as zero.
  5. After the close and a review, the top eligible traders are paid in SOL, within 24 hours of the review closing. Every payment is published with its on-chain transaction.

Figures on this page are the platform’s current defaults. Each tournament’s card shows the exact rules it runs under: its prize pool and split, length, bankroll and minimums.

Tournament and Practice#

There are two modes. The Tournament / Practice switch in the header decides which bankroll your orders use.

Coins and fillsThe tournament’s rules. The running tournament’s rules, or the current defaults between tournaments.

A refill only tops your SOL back up. With 6 SOL in cash and some coins, a refill adds 4 SOL and your coins stay where they are. You can’t refill while your cash is already at 10 SOL, and a refill also revives a practice bankroll that has run out. Practice PnL counts what you were refilled: it’s what your account would be worth if you sold everything now, minus the starting 10 SOL and minus every refill.

Practice skips the prize checks (such as the block on coins you’ve traded on-chain), because nothing in Practice can win. Everything else is the same: the same coins, fees, delay and on-chain prices. The selected mode is filled in its colour on the switch: acid for Tournament, blue for Practice.

Signing in and entering#

You need a Solana wallet to sign in and, for tournaments, an established X account. Entering is free.

Sign in with your wallet

  • Use any Solana wallet that supports wallet sign-in through the Wallet Standard, such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack.
  • You sign a message, never a transaction. The message says it only proves you own the wallet; it sends nothing and costs no fees.
  • Print Arena never asks for your recovery phrase or private key and never asks you to approve a transaction. Anything that does isn’t Print Arena.

Link your X account

  • Entering a tournament needs a verified X account, linked with Sign in with X. It keeps one person to one entry.
  • The X account must be at least 90 days old when you enter, going by the account’s creation date on X.
  • One X account links to one wallet at a time, and one X account can enter each tournament once, whichever wallet it’s linked to.
  • Print Arena reads your X profile once to check the account and its age. It can’t post for you and doesn’t keep the access token. Your @handle appears next to your results on the standings and the payout log.
  • You can change or disconnect your X account from the wallet menu. Entries you’ve already made keep the X account they were made with.
  • Practice never needs an X account.

Enter a tournament

  • Press Enter tournament on the Tournaments page, in the band under the header, or in the order panel.
  • You can enter as soon as a tournament is announced, before it starts. Your bankroll is ready straight away and trading opens at the start time.
  • Entry stays open until the close. If you join after the start you get the full bankroll but less time, and you can still win if you pass every prize check.
  • One bankroll per tournament: no rebuys, top-ups or resets.
  • There’s no entry fee and nothing to deposit.

Your display name

Anyone signed in can set a name for the standings: 3–20 characters (letters, numbers, spaces and _ . -, starting with a letter or number). You can change it once every 1 day; clearing it is always allowed. Names must be unique, and names that pose as the platform or look like a wallet address aren’t allowed. On tournament rows your verified @handle stays next to the name, so nobody can pass as someone else.

Tournaments#

Tournaments are created by the Print Arena team. Each has its own name, start time, length, prize pool, prize split and rules, all shown on its card.

  • One tournament runs at a time. They can run back to back but never overlap.
  • Each card shows the status and a countdown, the prize pool and every place’s prize, the length, the paper bankroll, the number of entrants, the minimum trades and tokens to win, and the market-cap range.
  • Some tournaments repeat daily or weekly at the same time. Each occurrence is a separate tournament with its own entry, standings and prizes.
  • Before it starts, a tournament can be edited or cancelled; a cancelled card shows the reason. Once it’s live it can only be voided, with a public reason, and a voided tournament pays nothing.
  • Each tournament keeps the rules it was set up with. Changes to the platform’s defaults only apply to tournaments set up afterwards.
  • Times on the site are Pacific time (PT).

What the statuses mean

Upcoming
Announced. You can enter now; trading opens at the start.
Live
Trading is open. Standings update as trades fill, and prize places are provisional.
Closing
Trading has ended. Orders still in flight are rejected and the final standings are being computed.
In review
The final standings are in. Prizes are checked during the review window, which lasts at least 3 hours after the close, before any payment. Prize places can still change.
Final
The payout review has closed: the results and prize places are settled. Final doesn’t mean paid; payment is shown next to it. Prizes are sent within 24 hours of this point.
Prizes being paid, partly paid, paid
Payment status, shown apart from the result: none, some or all of the prizes are confirmed on-chain.
Cancelled
Called off before it started. The reason is on the card.
Voided
Stopped after it started. Nothing is marked or paid, and the reason is public.

What you can trade#

You trade pump.fun coins from the live market, on the bonding curve or after they move to PumpSwap. Not every coin can be bought.

The market-cap range

You can buy a coin only while its market cap is at least $3,500 and below $1,000,000 (the Trenches range). The check uses the market cap at the moment your buy fills, in US dollars: the coin’s price times its supply, at a live SOL/USD price.

  • The lower edge is included and the upper edge isn’t: a coin at exactly $3,500 can be bought, one at exactly $1,000,000 can’t.
  • Selling is always allowed, whatever the market cap. A coin that runs far past the top of the range after you bought it can still be sold.
  • Adding to a position follows the buy rule: only while the coin is inside the range.
  • Coins outside the range stay visible, marked Out of range.

Coins that can’t be bought

  • Coins with a mint authority or a freeze authority.
  • Token-2022 coins with features a simulation can’t honour: transfer hooks, permanent delegates, non-transferable or pausable tokens, accounts frozen by default, and any extension not reviewed yet. Transfer fees are fine: they’re charged exactly, on both sides of a trade.
  • Coins paired with anything other than SOL.
  • pump.fun mayhem-mode coins.
  • Coins trading in a pool other than their own PumpSwap pool.
  • Coins from launchpads other than pump.fun.
  • Coins the team has hidden for moderation.
  • In Tournament mode, coins your own wallet created, or traded on-chain earlier in the tournament (see on-chain activity).

You can always sell a coin you already hold, even if it can no longer be bought.

The buy limit

Your position in a coin can’t be bigger than its market could really take. After a buy, your whole position may use at most 10% of the SOL actually sitting in the coin’s pool.

Exactly: the SOL this buy would put into the pool, plus the SOL that selling everything you already hold in that coin would take out, must not exceed 10% of the pool’s real SOL just before the fill. Only real SOL counts (the bonding curve’s virtual reserves don’t), and fees aren’t included. Pools near the bottom of the range are small, so the limit there is small too; quick-buy buttons show the largest buy a pool can take when it’s below your amount.

Why: your paper buys don’t move the real pool. Without a limit you could buy a position far bigger than the pool and sell it back at the untouched price, which no real trader could do.

When an order is refused

Out of range
Buys only: the market cap at fill is outside the range.
Over the buy limit
Buys only: the position would use more than 10% of the pool’s real SOL.
Too early
Buys only: no fills in the first 2 slots after a coin launches, because real traders can’t get those fills either. If Print Arena can’t tell when the coin launched, buys wait.
Price unavailable
The order needs a fresh price: an on-chain read at fill time, or live data confirmed fresh within the last 3 seconds. Buys also need a SOL/USD price from the last 30 seconds. An order is never filled at an old price.
Migrating
While a coin moves from the bonding curve to PumpSwap, orders are refused. Trading resumes on the new pool.
Slippage
The fill was worse than your tolerance allows (see slippage).
Not enough SOL
A buy needs its amount plus the 0.001 SOL priority fee in cash.
Trading paused
If live market data stops for 10 seconds, trading pauses for everyone and resumes automatically.
Not open
Tournament orders are accepted only between the start and the close; an order still in flight at the close is rejected.

Liquidity and holders at entry

These don’t stop a buy, but they matter for prizes. A tournament buy counts fully only if the pool held at least 15 SOL of real liquidity and the coin had at least 40 holders when it filled. Gains on a buy below either floor don’t count toward prizes; losses still do. See prize PnL.

How trades are filled#

Every order is simulated on Print Arena’s server against the coin’s real on-chain state, with the costs a real trade would pay.

Simulated: no wallet transaction

Nothing is sent to the blockchain. There’s no wallet transaction and no on-chain trade, and your orders never move the real market.

What happens when you click Buy or Sell

  1. The server notes the time and quotes your order from its own live data. That quote is the reference for your slippage check. The price on your screen is an estimate and is never used for the fill.
  2. It waits 500 ms, standing in for the time a real transaction takes to land.
  3. It reads the coin’s reserves on-chain. If that read doesn’t come back within 250 ms, it uses its live market data instead, but only if that data is confirmed fresh, and the trade is marked for review.
  4. It runs the venue’s exact math against those reserves: the pump.fun bonding curve or the PumpSwap pool, with price impact and the venue’s fees.
  5. If the result is worse than your slippage tolerance allows, the order is rejected, as a real transaction would fail. Otherwise it fills and your balance updates.

Price impact

Buys and sells both move along the curve or pool, so bigger orders get worse prices on the way in and on the way out. If a coin’s liquidity is pulled (a rug), a sell returns only what the remaining reserves allow, which can be close to nothing.

Fees

Fees on every simulated trade
FeeAmountHow it’s charged
Platform fee1%Buys: taken out of the amount you commit. Sells: taken from what the venue pays out.
Venue feeAs charged on-chainThe pump.fun bonding curve charges 1.25%; PumpSwap pools start at 1.25% and step down as the market cap grows, following the venue’s fee tiers. A coin that sets its own creator fee on-chain is charged that fee, read at fill time.
Priority fee0.001 SOLEvery buy and every sell. Buys: on top of your amount. Sells: taken from the proceeds.
Transfer feeSet by the coinOnly Token-2022 coins with a transfer fee: charged exactly, on both sides.

The venue fee table was last checked against the live fee accounts on 2026-10-04, and the team is alerted if the fees seen on-chain ever differ from it.

A 1 SOL buy, step by step

  • You commit 1 SOL.
  • The 1% platform fee, 0.01 SOL, comes out of it.
  • The remaining 0.99 SOL goes through the venue’s math, which takes its fee and gives you tokens at the post-impact price.
  • The 0.001 SOL priority fee is charged on top, so 1.001 SOL leaves your cash.

On a sell, the venue pays out SOL after its own fee; then the platform fee and the priority fee come off. Because the priority fee is fixed, small trades pay proportionally more.

Slippage tolerance

You set it per order: 20% by default, up to 50%. It’s measured against the server’s own quote from when it received your order, not the price on your screen. A fill outside it is rejected, like a failed transaction.

Rounding

Every rounding goes against you, as on-chain integer math does: fees round up, and what you receive rounds down.

Order types

Market orders only. Buy presets are 0.5, 1, 2 and 5 SOL, or type an amount; sell presets are 25%, 50% and 100% of your position, or type an amount. There are no limit, take-profit or stop-loss orders.

If your bankroll runs out

When your cash plus what your coins would sell for can’t cover one more 0.001 SOL priority fee, your bankroll is closed for that tournament. You can still watch the standings. In Practice, a refill brings it back.

Scoring: realized PnL#

Tournaments rank on realized PnL: the SOL you end with, minus the bankroll you started with. Anything you haven’t sold by the close counts as zero.

Sell before the close.

A coin you still hold when the tournament ends is worth nothing for your score, however much it’s worth on the market. You’ve already paid for it, so it counts as a loss of everything it cost.

Realized PnL

Realized PnL = your cash − your starting bankroll. Your cash already reflects every buy you’ve paid for and every sale you’ve collected, fees included. So a position you haven’t sold holds your realized PnL down by its full cost until you sell it. Selling turns it back into cash, and only then does it count.

A worked example of realized PnL
StepCashRealized PnL
You start10 SOL0 SOL
Buy coin A for 2 SOL8 SOL−2 SOL
Sell all of coin A for 3 SOL11 SOL+1 SOL
Buy coin B for 1 SOL10 SOL0 SOL
The tournament closes with coin B unsold10 SOL0 SOL

Fees are left out to keep the example simple. Had you sold coin B before the close, what it sold for would have counted.

Three PnL figures you’ll see

Realized PnL
Cash minus your starting bankroll; unsold coins count as zero. This is the figure tournaments rank on.
Realized on closed trades
The profit or loss on what you’ve sold, against what it cost. It leaves out the coins you still hold, so it can be higher than your realized PnL: the gap is the cost of your open positions.
PnL if sold now
What you’d have if you sold everything right now, after fees and price impact, minus your starting bankroll. It helps you decide when to sell; it doesn’t rank.

Prize PnL

Prize places rank on prize PnL: your realized PnL with some gains taken out. Losses always count. Gains don’t count on a buy that:

  • filled when the pool had less than 15 SOL of real liquidity;
  • filled when the coin had fewer than 40 holders;
  • you still held when you traded the same coin on-chain with your own wallet (see on-chain activity).

Each buy is tracked as its own lot, and sells use your oldest lots first. A lot sold at a gain adds to prize PnL only if the lot was eligible; a lot sold at a loss subtracts either way. Coins still held at the close count as a loss of their cost, eligible or not. These trades also don’t count toward the minimum number of trades and tokens.

Ranking and tie-breaks

Everyone who entered is ranked, eligible or not, in this order:

  1. Higher realized PnL.
  2. Fewer trades. Every buy and every sell counts once; rejected orders don’t count.
  3. Reached the final figure earlier: the time of your last trade, or the close if you were still holding coins then.
  4. Entered the tournament earlier.
  5. Still tied: the same rank, and a person reviews it before any prize is paid.

Prize places use the same tie-breaks, on prize PnL. An exact tie in the prize places holds that payout until a reviewer decides.

The rule is frozen per tournament

Each tournament keeps the scoring rule it was set up with, and its card and standings say which. Older tournaments ranked on session PnL instead: realized PnL plus open positions valued as a full simulated sale at the close. Their pages show that rule.

Prize eligibility#

Anyone who enters can trade and appears on the standings. To win a prize you also have to be prize-eligible. Being ineligible never stops you trading; it only keeps you out of the prize places.

Prize eligibility requirements
RequirementRule
TradesAt least 10 eligible trades by default. Each tournament sets its own minimum, shown on its card.
Different coinsAcross at least 5 different coins by default (also set per tournament).
Wallet ageYour wallet’s first on-chain transaction is at least 30 days before the tournament starts.
Wallet historyAt least 100 past transactions on your wallet.
X accountLinked and at least 90 days old when you enter (you can’t enter without it).
Positive prize PnLYour prize PnL is above zero. Nobody is paid for losing money.
Not a team walletTeam wallets can play but never win.
Not bannedBanned wallets can’t sign in or win.
$PRINT holdingNot required: you don’t need any $PRINT to enter or to win.

Eligible trades: a buy counts if it filled above the liquidity and holder floors and isn’t tainted by your own on-chain trading; a sell counts if it sells at least part of an eligible buy. The Tournaments page shows your progress toward the minimums while a tournament is live.

No $PRINT holding

You don’t need to hold any $PRINT to enter a tournament or to win a prize, before or after the token launches.

Your own on-chain activity on a coin

  • You can’t paper-buy a coin your signed-in wallet created.
  • You can’t paper-buy a coin your wallet has traded on-chain earlier in the same tournament.
  • If you trade a coin on-chain after paper-buying it, you keep the position, but gains on what you held at that moment stop counting toward prizes (losses still count), and the team is alerted.

This stops anyone pumping a coin with real SOL to lift a paper position. Practice is exempt, because it never pays.

Linked wallets

At the close, the top finishers’ wallets are checked for links: the same funding wallet (exchange wallets don’t count), wallets that funded each other, or a shared transaction. Linked wallets are flagged for a person to review, never removed automatically. If two linked wallets both land in prize places, the lower one’s prize is held and the next trader not linked to them is lined up. If the reviewer upholds the flag, the place passes to that trader: one prize per person.

Team wallets

Wallets belonging to the Print Arena team (admins, the creator wallet and the launch-buy wallet) can play but can never win a prize. They show as not eligible.

Rank vs prize place

Your rank is your position among everyone in the tournament by realized PnL. Your prize place is your position among prize-eligible traders with a positive prize PnL, ordered by prize PnL. They can differ:

  • Someone above you isn’t eligible. They keep their rank, but the prize place passes to the next eligible trader: ranked 3rd behind one ineligible trader, you’d be in 2nd prize place.
  • Some of your gains don’t count (a buy under the liquidity or holder floor), so your prize PnL is below your realized PnL and you can sit lower in the prize places than your rank.
  • A prize PnL of zero or less never takes a prize place.

While a tournament is live, prize places are provisional: where you’d finish if it closed now, before the review. After the review, Past tournaments shows who was actually paid: a place passed on in review shows its new recipient, and a withheld place says Prize withheld.

Prizes and payouts#

Each tournament announces a prize pool in US dollars. Prizes are paid in real SOL after the close and a review.

Pool and split

Tournaments pay the top three, split 50%, 30% and 20% of the pool, unless a tournament’s card states different places or a different split. The card is the source of truth for that tournament: its prize pool, its places and what each one pays.

For example, a $50 pool on the standard split pays $25 to 1st, $15 to 2nd and $10 to 3rd.

Once a tournament has started its pool can’t change, and it’s never reduced. Prizes don’t depend on the price of $PRINT.

Prizes are set in US dollars and converted to SOL when the payout batch is approved, at the SOL/USD price at that moment, which is recorded with the batch. Amounts round down to the lamport. The SOL goes to the wallet you signed in with.

The review, step by step

  1. The tournament closes. The final standings and prize places are computed.
  2. Automatic checks flag anything unusual (see flags). A flagged prize is held.
  3. The review window runs for at least 3 hours after the close. A reviewer clears or upholds every flag. Trades executed on bad data or tied to manipulation can be voided, and the standings and prize places are recomputed without them.
  4. After the window, one admin approves the payout batch. That converts the prizes to SOL.
  5. The prizes are sent within 24 hours of the review closing, by hand from the Print Arena creator wallet.
  6. Print Arena checks every transfer on-chain: it must have succeeded, come after the approval, come from the creator wallet and pay the winner, and it can’t be counted twice. Only then is the prize marked Paid, with a link to its transaction on Solscan.

Prizes are sent by a person.

Print Arena holds no private keys and can’t send money by itself; an automated check on every code change keeps it that way. Prizes are sent within 24 hours of the review closing, by hand from the creator wallet, and verified on-chain. Each one appears on Paid prizes once it’s confirmed on-chain.

Fewer winners than places

If fewer traders qualify than there are prize places, the unclaimed prizes aren’t paid and stay in the prize treasury. A lone eligible winner gets only the 1st-place prize.

Provisional, final, pending, paid

Provisional
During a live tournament: where the prizes would go if it closed now.
In review
After the close, before approval. Prize places can still change.
Final
The review has closed. The results and prize places are settled; it doesn’t mean paid. Prizes are sent within 24 hours.
Pending
A prize is allocated and approved, but its payment isn’t confirmed on-chain yet.
Paid
The payment is confirmed on-chain and linked to its transaction.
Partly paid
Some of a tournament’s prizes are confirmed, the rest not yet.

An allocation is what a place is worth; a payment is SOL confirmed on-chain. Paid prizes lists confirmed payments only. Approved prizes still waiting to be sent are shown as a count and never counted as paid.

Standings pages#

Standings has three views, plus the public record of every prize paid.

Live
The running tournament: rank by realized PnL, prize PnL, trades, coins, eligibility, and the provisional prize places on the podium. It updates as trades fill.
Past tournaments
Every finished tournament, scored under the rule it ran with. The result (awaiting review, final, corrected, voided, cancelled) is shown apart from payment. After the review the podium shows who was actually paid.
All-time
Career recognition, with no prizes. Ranked by wins (1st prize places), then podiums (top-three prize places). A tournament counts once its results are final and every prize is paid. Equal wins and podiums share a rank. Paper PnL is never added up across tournaments, and team wallets and banned accounts aren’t ranked.
Paid prizes
Every confirmed payment with its Solscan transaction, the totals, approved prizes still awaiting payment (as a count), and the public review log: voided trades with the reason, upheld flags with the reviewer’s note, and voided tournaments.

Every trader also has a public page with their tournament history, ranks and prizes. Your current holdings show there only to you.

The $PRINT token#

$PRINT is Print Arena’s token. You don’t need it to play.

Contract address
To be added. $PRINT hasn’t launched; when it does, the address appears here and on the homepage.
Official X
@PrintArena_xyz
Creator fee
2% creator fee / transfer tax. It’s a Token-2022 transfer fee, so it applies to every transfer of $PRINT: buys and sells, and wallet-to-wallet transfers too.
Where the fee goes
75% of the 2% transfer fee collected by the creator wallet goes to tournament prizes and 25% to running and developing the site. The split covers only the transfer fee, not pool or LP fees. These are shares of the fee collected, not extra taxes.

The 75% / 25% split is the team’s commitment. It isn’t enforced on-chain.

Tournament prize pools are set in US dollars and paid in SOL; they don’t move with the token’s price. You don’t need to hold any $PRINT to enter or to win (see eligibility).

Fair play and safety#

How Print Arena keeps the competition fair and your wallet safe.

Your wallet

  • Print Arena never asks for your private key or recovery phrase and never asks you to sign a transaction. Signing in is a message signature, and it can’t move funds.
  • The platform holds no keys and can’t send money. Prizes are sent within 24 hours of the review closing, by hand from the creator wallet, and verified on-chain.

Integrity

  • Fills are computed on the server from on-chain data. Nothing your browser sends sets a price.
  • Each tournament stores the rules it runs under, and each fill stores the reserves and the data source it was priced from, so standings can be recomputed from the trades.
  • If live market data stops for 10 seconds, trading pauses for everyone and resumes automatically. A tournament paused for more than 30 minutes in total is flagged, and an admin may void it; a voided tournament pays nothing.
  • After the close, trades executed on bad data or tied to manipulation can be voided, with a public reason.
  • What gets flagged automatically, and what happens next, is under automatic flags.

Questions and disputes

Questions and disputes go by direct message to @PrintArena_xyz on X. If a result looks wrong, say so as early as you can: prize places can still change until the review closes, and review decisions are published on Paid prizes.

Bans

Bans are decided by a person, never automatically. An admin can ban a wallet for cheating, together with the wallets linked to it. A banned wallet is signed out, can’t sign in again and can’t win; a prize it was due is held for review.

Coin names and images

Coin names and images come from their creators. A blocklist filters some names, and the team can hide coins for everyone. You can hide any coin yourself with Hide on Discover (unhide it in Settings), and turn coin images off in Settings.

The public demo#

Want to look around first? The demo shows the whole site in a live tournament, with sample data.

Open the live demo. It turns on sample data for that browser tab: a sample tournament under way, sample traders and a sample you, on every page.

  • A bar on every page reads “Demo · sample data, not a live tournament”, with Exit demo.
  • Nothing is real and nothing is sent. Signing in, linking X, entering and orders only show a message, so you can’t trade or win in the demo.
  • Receipts and print cards are stamped as sample data, and sharing them is off.
  • It stays on across pages and reloads in that tab until you press Exit demo.

Glossary#

All-time
The career standings: ranked by wins, then podium finishes, in tournaments whose prizes have all been paid.
Anti-snipe
No buys in the first 2 slots after a coin launches.
Bankroll
The paper SOL you trade with. Simulated: it can’t be withdrawn and is never real money.
Bonding curve
Where a new pump.fun coin trades first: the price follows a formula and rises as people buy.
Busted
Your cash plus what your coins would sell for can’t cover one more priority fee. Your bankroll is closed for that tournament.
Buy limit
Your whole position in a coin may use at most 10% of the SOL in its pool. See the buy limit.
Creator wallet
The Print Arena wallet that sends prizes by hand and collects the $PRINT creator fee.
Eligible trade
A trade that counts toward the minimum trades and coins: a buy above the liquidity and holder floors (and not tainted by your on-chain trading), or a sell of such a buy.
Equity
Your cash plus what your coins would sell for right now, after fees and impact.
Final
The payout review has closed and the results are settled. It doesn’t say whether prizes are paid yet.
Final stretch
A Discover column: coins whose bonding curve is at least 60% complete, getting close to migrating.
Fill
The simulated execution of your order, priced on the server from on-chain data.
Flag, hold
A flag marks something for a reviewer. A held prize waits until the reviewer clears or upholds the flag.
Liquidity
The real SOL in a coin’s pool (not the bonding curve’s virtual reserves). The buy limit and the liquidity floor use it.
Lot
One buy. Sells use your oldest lots first, and prize PnL is worked out per lot.
Market cap
Price times supply, in US dollars at a live SOL/USD price. The range and Out of range use it.
Migration
When a coin leaves the bonding curve for its PumpSwap pool. Orders are refused while it happens.
Out of range
Market cap outside $3.5K–$1M: you can’t buy, but you can sell.
PnL if sold now
Equity minus your starting bankroll: what selling everything now would leave you with. It doesn’t rank.
Practice
The private, refillable paper bankroll. Never ranked, never paid.
Price impact
How much your own order moves the price along the curve or pool.
Price unavailable
The order was refused because no fresh price could be confirmed. Nothing is filled at an old price.
Priority fee
A fixed 0.001 SOL on every buy and sell, as a real transaction would pay.
Prize PnL
Realized PnL with gains from ineligible buys removed; losses always count. Prize places rank on it.
Prize place
Your position among prize-eligible traders with positive prize PnL. Not the same as your rank.
Provisional
Where things stand if the tournament closed now, before the review.
PumpSwap
pump.fun’s exchange pool, where a coin trades after it migrates.
Rank
Your position among everyone in the tournament by realized PnL.
Realized PnL
Cash minus your starting bankroll; unsold coins count as zero. What tournaments rank on.
Realized on closed trades
Profit or loss on what you’ve sold, against what it cost. It leaves out what you still hold.
Review window
At least 3 hours after the close, before prizes can be approved.
Session PnL
The older rule: realized PnL plus open positions valued as a full simulated sale at the close.
Slippage tolerance
How much worse than the server’s quote you’ll accept: 20% by default, up to 50%.
Team wallet
A Print Arena team wallet. It can play but never win a prize.
Tournament
A competition set up by the team, with its own window, prize pool, split and rules.

FAQ#

Am I trading real money?

No. Your bankroll and trades are simulated. Only the tournament prizes are real: they’re paid in SOL.

Do I have to pay or deposit anything?

No. There’s no entry fee and nothing to deposit. Signing in costs nothing.

Which wallets work, and is signing in safe?

Any Solana wallet with Wallet Standard sign-in, such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. You sign a message, never a transaction, so signing in can’t move funds. More on signing in.

Why do I need an X account?

It keeps one person to one entry. Link a verified X account at least 90 days old; Practice doesn’t need one.

Can I use one X account with two wallets?

No. An X account links to one wallet at a time, and it can enter each tournament only once, whichever wallet it’s on.

Can I enter after a tournament has started?

Yes, until the close. You get the full bankroll but less time, and you can still win if you pass every prize check.

Can I get another bankroll if I lose mine?

Not in a tournament: one bankroll each, no rebuys. You can keep trading in Practice and refill there.

What happens to coins I still hold at the close?

They count as zero. Sell before the close for them to count.

Why is my realized PnL down when my coins are up?

Realized PnL only counts what you’ve sold. Coins you hold have taken their cost out of your cash, and they add nothing back until you sell. PnL if sold now shows what they’re worth.

Why was my buy refused?

Usually the coin is out of range, the buy is over the limit, the coin is too new or migrating, the price couldn’t be confirmed fresh, or the fill moved past your slippage tolerance. Every reason.

Why can I sell a coin I can’t buy?

Selling is always allowed, so nobody gets stuck in a position. Only buys have to be inside the range and the buy limit.

Why was my fill different from the price I saw?

Your order fills 500 ms after you click, at the on-chain price then, with price impact and fees. The price on screen is an estimate; your slippage tolerance caps the difference.

I’m in the top three. Why am I not in a prize place?

Prize places go to eligible traders by prize PnL. You may be missing a requirement (trades, coins, wallet age or history), or some of your gains may not count toward prizes. Rank vs prize place.

When will I be paid?

Prizes are sent within 24 hours of the review closing, by hand from the creator wallet, and verified on-chain. The review runs for at least 3 hours after the close. Each payment appears on Paid prizes once it’s confirmed.

How much SOL will I get?

Your prize in US dollars, converted to SOL at the SOL/USD price when the payout batch is approved.

How can I check that prizes were really paid?

Paid prizes lists every confirmed payment with a link to its transaction on Solscan. A prize is marked paid only after the transfer is checked on-chain.

What if two traders tie?

Fewer trades wins, then whoever reached their final figure first, then whoever entered first. A tie that survives all of that goes to a person. Tie-breaks.

What if fewer than three traders qualify?

Only the places with a qualifying trader are paid. The rest stays in the prize treasury.

Does Practice count for anything?

No. It’s private, never ranked and never paid.

Do I need $PRINT?

No. You don’t need to hold any $PRINT to enter or to win.

What’s the $PRINT contract address?

Not published yet. When the token launches, the address appears in this page’s token section and on the homepage.

Can the rules change during a tournament?

No. Each tournament keeps the rules it was set up with. Before it starts, the team can edit or cancel it; once it’s live it can only be voided, with a public reason.

Can the Print Arena team win prizes?

No. Team wallets can play, but they can never win a prize.

How do I contact Print Arena or dispute a result?

Send a direct message to @PrintArena_xyz on X. If a result looks wrong, write as early as you can: prize places can still change until the review closes. Questions and disputes.

What time zone are times in?

Pacific time (PT), everywhere on the site.

Can I look around without signing in?

Yes. Discover, coin pages and the standings work signed out, and the demo shows a live tournament with sample data.
